「企業減碳溫度計」(TRIPs)為《天下雜誌》與東海大學合作,紀錄與揭露各家企業減碳企圖心與路徑的平台。其基本原理,是參考聯合國政府間氣候變化專門委員會(IPCC)所發布的第六次評估報告(AR6)中,模擬未來地球各種可能的升溫情境,並採用「絕對全球溫度變化潛勢模型」(AGTP),根據企業的減碳基準年、目標年、溫室氣體排放量等數據,透過線性預測,模擬分析出各家企業的長期減碳路徑,並經氣候模型與參數矩陣計算出企業於本世紀末的升溫判定。

【Note】 The Thermometer for Reducing Intellectual Property by Enterprises (TRIPs) is a platform to record and expose the carbon reduction intentions and pathways of various enterprises in collaboration with Tunghai University. The basic principle of TRIPs is to make reference to the Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) published by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which simulates various possible warming scenarios of the earth in the future. Using the Absolute Global Temperature Potential (AGTP) model, we simulate and analyse the long-term carbon reduction paths of each enterprise based on the enterprise's carbon reduction base year, target year, greenhouse gas emissions, etc., and by making a linear prediction. Based on the data of base year and target year of carbon reduction and GHG emissions, the AGTP simulates and analyses the long-term carbon reduction path of each enterprise through linear prediction, and calculates the warming judgement of the enterprise at the end of this century through the climate model and parameter matrix.
